Favorite Character November 2017

Hey book world, BooksInNeed here, over in the middle of an apocalypse with your monthly favorite character post! And I still can’t believe it’s November! Even my calendar is slow on time, and I’m still on Halloween. Honestly, I’ve missed all my fellow bookish friends when I was out on Halloween, and I didn’t do a Halloween post also so I’m really happy that I can be typing this! Even with my book ban going on, I WILL NEVER STOP BLOGGING! Everybody helping with the apocalypse is totally making this situation better, and I can’t thank you all enough! GROUP HUG!!!!!

YOU ALL ARE THE BEST! Also, you can find my Favorite Character October 2017 post here, and on that note, on with the post!

This month’s favorite character from the Divergent series is…..

Beatrice “Tris” Prior

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Divergent series! I can honestly not say enough about it! Action, drama, some violence, romance, and sadness all mixed together and makes AN AMAZING BOOK! I think Tris is the best character because even though she was thick headed sometimes, she was a hero. I know, she killed people on the way, and even her friends, but she still was a hero in the end because of (no spoilers). I’ve heard that people think that Tris was really stupid because she needed help on everything, but she actually faced more than the other Dauntless did. There was also that Tris always feels sorry for herself, but realistically, everybody would be if they had to go through that fate!

Well, that’s all for this post, and next month’s favorite character post is going to be on….

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Comment on this post who is your favorite character in The Fault in Our Stars, and I’ll give a shout out to you in next month’s post! BUT, with a book ban, I’m probably going to not going to do many bookish posts, so I’m also going to add, comment on what you want on Christmas so I can have something to respond to! The book ban is absolutely sucking the life out of me, so I’m looking forward to all your answers! And yes, that’s you who’s reading this and is totally going to respond to this.

  1. Thank you! I choose the book by random, but it’s usually a book I love. Tris is an amazing character, but sometimes really underestimated by people. And thanks for commenting on this post!!!! And that’s not cliche at all for liking the two protagonists! It’s called realistic in my opinion. ☺

  2. This is very interesting. Do you choose your favorite character from the books you read the previous month? Tris is a great character in the Divergent series – really no one gives her any credit. As for “Fault in Our Stars” – I like the two main protagonists, Hazel and Augustus, of course. Maybe I am cliche that way. 🙂

  3. Not many bookish posts? NOT MANY BOOKISH POSTS?!

You have to jump on some memes then! Top Ten Tuesday and Waiting on Wednesday are perfect for that!

I love Tris in the books; but I don’t like the actress. Never have. :’) But that’s a personal opinion any way, haha.
Also, haven’t read The Fault in Our Stars yet but I’ve picked it as a giveaway-prize I won, haha.

    1. Two words that are my suffering: book ban.
And I’ll have to try that! It sounds really fun!
I’ve never gotten by watching the movie, but I ❤ the book!
And The Fault in our Stars is an amazing book, and one that you should totally read! There’s a movie on it also, but I never got by watching it.

      1. I know what it’s like, haha. Good thing I have plenty of books to read. :’)

You should! It’ll probably make you add tons of books to your “want to buy”-list if you check out other people’s posts, but it’s so much fun to find books that fit the Top Ten Tuesday-themes!

Definitely going to read it eventually!

      2. I need to get caught up on my reading then!
I’m pretty sure that my want to read list is going to all of my friends Christmas lists for me one day. And I’ll totally try that out!
Yay I hope the book appeals to you!
